The core production areas are located in the optimal pear-growing belt between 37°N–38°N. Featuring a warm temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate, the regions are ideal for the accumulation of sugar and aromatic substances in the fruits.

The fruits are perfectly oval or broadly round, with plump and regular shapes. The fruit diameter is uniformly ≥8 cm, with clear grading standards. The peel has a yellowish-green base color, dotted with fine light brown lenticels, and is covered with a natural waxy layer, presenting a smooth, clean surface free from rust spots. Bagged pears are yellow or creamy yellow, gradually turning golden and translucent after storage, with an overall fresh and elegant luster.

The flesh is as white as jade, crisp, tender and delicate, bursting with abundant juice upon biting, with a juice yield of over 85%. The soluble solid content ranges from 11%–16.5%, paired with low organic acid content and a high sugar-acid ratio, delivering a sweet and refreshing taste without any sourness or astringency. The pears have a unique rock sugar-like sweetness and pleasant aroma, with a long-lasting aftertaste. After 7–10 days of post-ripening treatment, the starch is further decomposed into sugar, making the sweetness more intense, which caters to the taste preferences of consumers from different regions.

With a water content of over 85%, Snow Pears are an excellent natural hydrating food. Each 100 grams of flesh contains about 4 mg of vitamin C, 85 mg of potassium, as well as B vitamins, dietary fiber and polyphenolic compounds. Dietary fiber and pectin can promote intestinal peristalsis and aid digestion; potassium helps regulate the body's electrolyte balance and relieve fatigue; B vitamins are beneficial for protecting the heart and reducing tiredness.

Pears are harvested in batches according to their ripeness to ensure optimal flavor. Pre-cooling treatment is completed within 24 hours after harvest, and the preservation period can reach 5–7 months.
