The growing areas are mostly located in subtropical climate zones, featuring abundant sunlight, moderate precipitation, and loose, fertile acidic soil, which perfectly matches Cuiguan Pears' growth characteristics of being light-loving and tolerant to high temperature and humidity. In terms of cultivation, organic fertilizers are mainly used. Combined with standardized management techniques such as flower and fruit thinning, and fruit bagging, the bagging technology alone can increase the rate of marketable fruits to 95%. Some high-yield orchards can achieve a maximum yield of 10,000 kilograms per mu. Meanwhile, nano slow-release pesticide-fertilizer technology is applied to reduce the frequency of pesticide application, ensuring stable fruit quality from the source.

Hailed as the "Emerald Jade Among Pears", Cuiguan Pears are mostly nearly round or oblate with regular and plump shapes. The peel ranges from blue-green to yellowish-green, with a faint waxy luster when ripe, and small, sparse lenticels. Some fruits have 2–3 distinct vertical grooves, presenting a clean and attractive overall appearance.

As a standout among early-maturing pears, Cuiguan Pears are characterized by their core strengths of crispness, sweetness and juiciness. The flesh is white, tender and dense, with a distinctly crisp texture that produces a satisfying crunch when bitten. It leaves no residue after eating, and its flesh firmness is relatively high among pear varieties-chewy yet never astringent. The taste is refreshingly sweet without being cloying, accompanied by a fresh and natural fruit aroma, making it ideal for consumers from different regions who prefer light and delicate flavors.

Cuiguan Pears have high nutritional density and are rich in various nutrients. Dietary fiber promotes intestinal peristalsis and aids digestion; potassium helps maintain stable blood pressure. Cuiguan Pears are suitable for low-temperature refrigeration at 0–4℃, with a preservation period of over 30 days. They can also be stored at room temperature for 10–15 days, demonstrating better storage and transportation resistance than most early-maturing pear varieties.
