Golden Production Regions and Ecological Advantages

The core production areas are concentrated in the golden pear-growing belt of North China, lying within the optimal cultivation latitude range of 37°N–38.5°N. Characterized by a warm temperate semi-humid continental climate, the regions enjoy annual sunshine hours of 2,600–2,900 hours and a significant day-night temperature difference of 10–14℃, which facilitates the full accumulation of sugar and aromatic substances. The soil is mainly composed of fluvo-aquic soil and cinnamon soil rich in calcium, magnesium and potassium. Irrigated with natural river water and nurtured in an industrially unpolluted ecological environment, these conditions together cultivate the pure and authentic flavor of Ya Pears. Standardized cultivation practices are implemented in the production areas, including the application of organic fertilizers, adoption of bagging cultivation and physical pest control technologies, ensuring stable fruit quality from the source.

Appearance Characteristics

The fruits feature a unique obovate shape, with one side of the fruit shoulder slightly higher and a protrusion at the base of the fruit stem resembling a duck's head, giving them extremely high recognizability. The weight of a single fruit ranges from 180–250 grams, and can reach over 350 grams at maximum, with a uniform diameter of ≥7 cm. The peel is thin and smooth, presenting a yellowish-green color when ripe and turning golden and translucent after storage. Dotted with small and dense lenticels and covered with a natural waxy layer, the fruit surface is free from rust spots and damages, exhibiting a fresh and elegant overall appearance with strong shelf appeal.

Taste and Flavor

The flesh is milky white, delicate, crisp and tender, bursting with abundant juice upon biting, with a juice yield of over 85%. The soluble solid content ranges from 12.5%–14.8%, while the titratable acid content is only 0.18%–0.22%, resulting in an impressive sugar-acid ratio of up to 65:1. The taste is refreshingly sweet and crisp without any sourness or astringency. The fruit emits a typical "pear ester-type" aroma, blended with natural aromatic substances such as ethyl caproate, delivering a rich, soft and long-lasting fragrance that caters to the taste preferences of consumers from different regions.

Nutritional Value and Core Benefits

With a water content of over 87%, Ya Pears are an excellent natural hydrating food. Each 100 grams of flesh contains approximately 4.3 mg of vitamin C, 116–140 mg of potassium, as well as dietary fiber and polyphenolic compounds. Dietary fiber and pectin can promote intestinal peristalsis and aid digestion; potassium helps regulate the body's electrolyte balance and relieve fatigue; polyphenolic compounds possess outstanding antioxidant activity. From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ya Pears are cool in nature and sweet in taste, acting on the lung and stomach meridians. They can promote fluid secretion to relieve dryness, clear heat and resolve phlegm, and have an auxiliary effect on alleviating dry cough caused by lung dryness and dry, itchy throat, making them a healthy fruit suitable for people of all ages.

Harvest, Storage and Supply Chain Advantages

The pears are harvested in batches according to their ripeness to ensure optimal flavor. Pre-cooling treatment is completed within 24 hours after harvest, with a preservation period of 3–5 months. With a flesh firmness of 6.8–8.2 kg/cm², Ya Pears have strong storage and transportation resistance. Combined with controlled atmosphere (CA) storage technology, stable year-round supply can be achieved to meet continuous procurement demands.

Quality Assurance

The quality strictly complies with international agricultural and food product standards. The pears are free from artificial ripening and artificial waxing. They are graded by automatic sorting equipment based on fruit diameter, color and defect degree, followed by manual re-inspection to remove substandard fruits. The product has passed all pesticide residue tests, holds complete export qualifications and has obtained Green Food certification, with its recognition in overseas markets continuously rising.
